When I found William Hurt playing Mr. Rochester, that just added all the spice I needed to enjoy this lovely book/movie. ...

My FAVORITE!

+ A great Masterpiece series

I have watched this movie countless times since it was released on video. It remains my all-time favorite and I now own it on DVD as well. A great addition to the library of any lover of period costume drama. I only wish it was longer.

Daisy Miller

Another 4 Plus 1 for Courage

+ Daisy Miller is a masterpiece.
+ A Good Film but Not a Masterpiece

This film is remarkable. It is not James, however close to the original plot it may dance. I don't believe with others that this film is a masterpiece. Bogdanovich overlays Henry James with Oscar Wilde. It doesn't work perfectly, but it gives you a variation on a theme, especially intriguing with ...

Most Amusing

+ Fairy tale Love Story you want to believe.
+ A WONDERFUL LOVE STORY!

I liked it! I saw it on A&E and decided to buy it. It is a double disc set and watching it is a pleasure. It is not overly deep into the history as such but mainly tells of the deep and profound love between Victoria and Albert. A good watch. Period movie lovers should be pleased.Check it out.
