We loved the movie, and now the music.
My wife, son and I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, and wanted to score. We are very pleased. Our son daily asks to listen to the music.
Dial-A-Song: 20 Years of They Might Be Giants
They Might Be Giants
Elektra / Wea, 2002
Catchy, fun, sing-along lyrical beauty. This is a fine collection of one fine band.
I rarely review music because more than any other medium, it relies on the personal taste of the listener. I enjoy some Hendrix, Beatles, Mozart, Rammstein, Johnny Cash, and more. I'd be hard pressed to reccommend all of them to each of my friends though. That's the ...

They Might Be Giants
Elektra / Wea, 1992
Everything is catching on fire
This cd is beyond belief. Beyond all known things. Beyond imagination of the imaginable imaginative. I have listened, and have found, that time and space are now a mystery to me. You MUST for your own health, safety, and sanity, purchase this beautiful display of ...

best TMBG album in a long time
This album is amazing... fun, funny songs that rock. My favorites are the ultra-catchy "The Cap'm" and hilarious "The Mesopotamians" (check out the video on YouTube), but really the whole CD is amazing. Mine came with the bonus disc "cast your pod to the wind" which ...
Lincoln
They Might Be Giants
Restless Records, 1993
Perhaps the best of their early releases
Many fans are in love with "Flood" because it contains multiple classics that show up in everyone's collections. The best contained in "Lincoln" are on par, starting with "Ana Ng", right on through the obnoxious finale, "Kiss Me, Son of God". With all the earlier ...

The best kids music EVER!
This was originally given to my family as a gift - WE LOVED IT! Whenever our daughter (at the time 3 yrs old) was in the car, it was playing and everyone (including mom and dad) sang along. We loaned it to a friend and never got it back - a sad day in our family. I ...

They Might Be Giants
Walt Disney Records, 2005
The best kids music ever!
This is the first time I found myself singing along to kids music since my kids came along 4 years ago. Highly recommended. Makes a cool, cheep Christmas gift too! And my kids love it and know all the words. QU......QU...
Here Come The 123s [CD/DVD]
They Might Be Giants
Disney, 2008
Kids do not even realize they are learning.
My kids are 4 and 5 and love to hum 80% of the songs from this CD. They do not even realize that they have learned their even and odd numbers, the concept of zero, and how to add to music. Then there is the DVD. Incredible imagination!
Flood
They Might Be Giants
Elektra / Wea, 1990
TMBG "Flood"
One of my favorite albums! Eclectic, funny, entertaining, inteligent, and catchy. My only regret is the lack of a live rhythm section, but many of these numbers thrive on synthesized precision anyway, and wouldn't be the same without it. Seriously tongue-in-cheek.

get over it...this one's great
Apparently, some people have a problem with this album. That makes about as much sence to me as if there were actually people who prefer the quality of the BEATLES' "LOVE ME DO" to any song they produced later. The quality of this album is great, you can actually ...

They Might Be Giants

A must-have for TMBG fans
It's fab, it's quirky and really a must-have for anyone interested in one of the silliest, talented bands of all time!

They Might Be Giants

Nothing new to add, just wanted to give 5 stars...
Great album, one of their best. It's all been said in the previous 91 reviews. "I've Got a Fang" & "She Thinks She's Edith Head" certainly rank as the best songs. I like the way Linnell is so close to the microphone on "Fang."
They Got Lost
They Might Be Giants
Zoe Records, 2005
The music's great, but it's a weird compilation.
They Got Lost is a collection of rarities. Meaning, a couple B-Sides, a hidden track on "Factory Showroom", and songs off out of print or hard to find albums. This isn't the most solid collection, but the music is great none the less. Rest Awhile is a hard rock song ...

They Might Be Giants

A great EP
First, I'd like to point out that EPs are supposed to be short. Second, I'd like to point out that this is a great one. Not a single song on this EP is lacking, and it gives us a serious look into the direction that their sound is going. It gives you also a great ...

They Might Be Giants
Zoe Records, 2004
So much better than these reviews would suggest.
I've been a TMBG fan for a lot of years - about 16 actually, as I was introduced to pieces of their debut and "Lincoln" shortly before buying "Flood" in '89. Listen...I know all about different strokes for different folks, and all about to each his/her own. But ...
