The speed with which this software translates my speech into typed words is simply amazing! It is allowing me to write a review of its software on this website. It lets you recognize unique words such as your dog's name, current politicians, and more complicated esoteric words. It is giving me back the written fluency which MS had slowly stolen from me. While some of its interpretations are amusing, they are quickly corrected and the software becomes quite easy to use. By the way I installed it an hour and a half ago.

Nuance needs to be honest about their product. Version 9 practically no different.

I am using one of the best USB Logitech microphones. Here is what Nuance claims: Up to 99% Accurate and Three Times Faster than Typing. 99% accuracy is totally erroneous, I get less than 70% and it is slow. Nuance has no competition; Microsoft has no incentive to increase the productivity of their software in Vista. Dragon NaturallySpeaking 9 has no difference between this one that I can see; Just claims all of erroneous advertising. Be careful of this, the FCC should dispose of what the company says about the product. I am constantly having to delete what I say and say it again and again. Stick with version 9, Nuance maybe one of the best but this technology should be in mobile phones, more devices but is stagnant when it comes to improving. They have no competition, that is the main problem. I do not recommend this product, it is overpriced and needs a lot of work. This technology need to be in all mobile devices, and it will come eventually but Nuance needs to wake up.
