Don't slip!!!!!!! :)

Don't slip! These babies are sharp!
Bought this set from the Gold Box deal of the day for $79 and they are worth every penny! Cuisinart sells these on their website for $250. They are very sharp and are full-tang (which means that the blade runs all the way through the handle and gives better balance and cutting power). Also, the photo shown here is incorrect. Notice in the photo that the handles on the steak knives do not match the other knives (solid black vs. stainless tips). All knife handles in the set match 100% and have stainless tips on them! Thank you Amazon for a great deal!!!!!!

Great value so far...

I've only had these for a month or so, but am very impressed with the fit, finish, and overall quality of the knives. I'm particularly impressed considering the low price. They are well balanced and seem to hold their edge well. The steak knife block fits in well with the rest of the set's block, but is also removable, which is a nice feature. I'll update this review if I have any problems, but I really don't anticipate any.

I replaced my older set of knives with these and cannot believe the difference.. these knives are sharp looking and sharp for cutting. love them

Knife Set Review

I received this Cuisinart Knife Block set last month and I am extremely pleased with the quality of the knives. They are very sharp, with handles that fit into your hand, to be able to get a good grip. I am glad I purchased the 19 piece set, as it has every kind of knife I would use, including a paring knife. Worth the money.

Steak knives seperating

I bought this set when it was a gold box deal. I had the miracle blade set and they don't stay sharp as they claim and I was fed up with them. So I thought these looked like a good deal and I jumped on the purchase. Well when they came I noticed some of the steak knives didn't look right on the tips but I wasn't sure what I was seeing. Sure enough when I tried using one of them it separated at the tip. I now have 3 out of the 8 that are separated.

The other knives have been problem free. I enjoy the bread knife as it doesn't crush my bread while cutting it. I also appreciate having the sharpener in the set they don't claim these knives with just stay sharp. They sharped well. I was just very let down by the steak knives. If you take away the steak knives it would have been a 5.
