great zoom lens
This is a really nice
zoom
lens
. It is quick and focuses quickly. It is a little louder than my other Nikkor zoom lens, but for the money, it is certainly worth it!

Being a novice camera owner, I needed a better
zoom
lens
for my
nikon
D40
slr
. The
sigma
af 70-300 lens is a good lens for what we need. It's a little heavy, but it performs very well. The pictures we've taken since receiving the lens are all clear and with a little getting used to, this lens is exactly what we wanted.
I like this alot
I really like this
lens
, and the price was awesome. The vendor sent it relatively quickly. With all the scamming going on in the electronics websites, it's nice to see someone do it right

need some help
i bought this
lens
e and i love it but i cannot get it to do auto focus... i dunno if i amdoing something wrong or what but i would love some help.
So far good for the price
I bought this camera for my trip to upper pennisula of Michigan. Read other comments online about how good a
lens
e this is for the purpose of catching a shot of wildlife. It's loud when it tries to focus. Requires some strength to stablize it. I still haven't figured out why sometimes in
Macro
mode, the lense will be stuck and can't retract.
But for the price of it, it's a good buy. I uploaded my pics here as well.
