Great Thermometer

This thermometer is great!! Very accurate. It does exactly what you want an espresso or milk frothing thermometer to do! Stop steaming your milk when the thermometer reaches 140 and the milk will end up in the middle of the green zone. Perfectly frothed. Never burned. Excellent!

Great for not burning my capuccino!

I use this thermometer with the Krups XS5020 20-Ounce Frothing Pitcher. I believe they get along fine, but not great though. I would have liked to find a slightly smaller Frothing Pitcher with a correspondingly smaller thermometer, but this is only because my Francis Francis X3 has a very small space for Frothing.

I really like the colors inside it since you don't have to pay attention to the numbers. Green means great capuccino, red means burned capuccino.
