Nice little electric throw

Though I've only used it twice, didn't seem to have any problems with quality. The only thing I didn't know about it was it turns itself off at 3 hrs (as oppose to 10hrs for blankets).

Nice and Warm

A great choice for a gift idea. This item was nice and warm when first opened and tried. I would order another one.

It's great to be warm!

This just came today. I work from home and my office is freezing. My space heater helps, but my hands are still like ice. This blanket is the perfect solution. For my purposes, it would really be better if it were half the size but it was the smallest I could find. I have to fold it over which they tell you not to do but if I let it sit on the floor, my dog curls up on it which is probably worse. But it works! Yay! Someone mentioned the control is a little touchy and I would vouch for that. It went from Low to Medium more or less on it's own. Since I won't be dozing off, it isn't a problem for me, but I'd caution anyone else about that.

Crummy controller

Sunbeam electric blankets used to come with a controller that you had to firmly turn to set. The picture looks like it has a rotating control knob on it, but it doesn't.

You lightly tap the center of the control to turn it on, low, med, or high.

The problem is the cats & I accidentally tap it, changing it's setting or turning it on when we don't want it to.

So I have to go through the pain of unplugging it when not it use, or waking up to reset it when someone or the kitties bump it.

They should've stayed with the controllers they used to have, or made this one a little harder to push to activate it, so nobody has an accident with these.
