Sound Oasis is a unique sound and tinnitus therapy product that allows users to create their very own sound environment conducive to relaxation, sleep and improvement of everyday life. Sounds good / works great

Key element of a new white noise machine was finding one with a continuous play setting. An additional consideration was finding a machine with the AC plug to stop the battery burn through we had with a different unit.

The unit is being used in a baby room.

On the plus side...
It comes with more than one or two noise settings. The knobs are placed well and easy to use. The press on/off is fantastic when you have baby in your arms and keeps you from having to find a button and struggle to turn it on with a squirming baby in your arms.

On the wish they would add it list...
The unit is rather large and bulky. There is no wall mount option (keeping it from the reach of an exploring toddler is a losing battle).

We have not gotten any of the add on sounds but may in the future.

All in all. It makes noise and is easy to operate. I would suggest it.

I love this machine!!!

After a weird electrical humming noise started happening SOMEwhere around where I live, being a light sleeper, the only solution to my being to continue to get a good night's sleep was to play a nature sounds machine during the night. The machine I had, purchased at a Bed, Bath and Beyond-type store, had developed an annoying static, so I wanted to find a machine that had both better sound quality and durability. I just received the delivery, so I'm not sure how durable the machine will prove to be, but, the sound quality is amazing! I also love that I will be able to buy additional sound cards for this unit. Very cool idea.

The only negative to this order is that, since the item isn't shipped directly from Amazon, it took much longer to receive the delivery than if Amazon had shipped it. Still, it's a first rate product and was well worth the wait! If you're looking for a great nature sounds machine, I definately recommend this product! It's worth every penny.

Nice Machine

This machine has replaced our humidifier as a noise maker. The only complaint that I have with it is, after a few days of having the machine, I noticed an annoying repeat in the rain track. It repeats every 10 seconds, and I wasn't able to get to sleep because of it. However, I ordered the Sound Oasis Wilderness Journey Sound Card, which has a thunderstorm track, which appears to repeat every 30 seconds instead, and doesn't have an annoying pattern to get on your nerves.
