Doesn't flex much at all, but with a little practice I quickly found myself perferring this one over the dozen other fillet knives I've collected over the years for fishing. Incredibly sharp! Very strong as well. It can steak a King in a few seconds, or make transparent lox fillets for some delicious bagels.

Mine got a kink in the edge after 2 months of use. It's a boning knife, I used it for taking the bones out of meat. If I can't use this knife for what its made for without it getting damaged, then its a waste of my time and money. The same thing happened to my friend's Shun knife.

I gave it 1 star because its a cool looking knife, but I'll never buy another one.
