A must have for the Kindle

I can't begin to count how many book lights I went through looking for just the right one for my Kindle until I found this little gem. Some were too awkward. Some didn't light the entire screen. Some couldn't be positioned without a glare on the screen (like you get from a lamp from your room on the tv sometimes). I ordered the Mighty Bright XtraFlex2 Clip-On light based on the positive reviews a couple of months ago. I was hoping it would at least be adequate but I was pleasantly surprised that I was completely thrilled with it! What a difference!

I read in bed every night and so I don't wake my boyfriend, I like to use a booklight. This is the perfect light for the Amazon Kindle. I clip it to the back of the case and can bend it so that it lights the page completely without shining in my eyes or causing a glare off the screen. I'm still on the first set of batteries so it lasts a good long time. I especially like that it has 2 light settings. I prefer the setting with the dimmer amount of light - just right!

My only issue - and it is not the lights fault - is the bendy neck is easy to move so when my cat decides that I should not be reading when I could be paying attention to her she rubs her head up against the Kindle and moves the neck of the light. :)

Nice addition to a classy product

I really like this little light and on top of using it for the Kindle, used it as a light for a truck without one, budget truck, coming across country. Fluorescent like lighting, two intensities, no problems thus far.

I ordered two of these for a recent camping trip my wife and I took. We have a little camper and would be camping without utilities for several days. We're both big readers and I didn't want to run down our 12 volt battery. These little lights work very well. Used them for reading and everything else as they work quite well as flashlights to light the immediate area where you are walking or doing a task. Since coming home I use them whenever I need light in a confined space and have found they also work well on my router. They are very well made.

Mighty Bright book light

The flexible neck allows you to adjust the light to avoid shadows across the page. It clips easily to the book and the clear, white light makes reading at night a pleasure with no eye strain.

A good light for the Kindle

This book light is bright enough to let you read your Kindle in bed.

There are two specific problems that keep me from giving it five stars. First, the flexible neck seems a little too loose. It needs to be a little stiffer to stay in place as you read; a little motion and it wobbles out of place.

The second problem is the power switch on the top of the light could also stand to be either stiffened up to provide more resistance or changed to a switch. On more than one occasion, I've pulled the light out of my briefcase or messenger bag to find it's been turned on accidentally. Luckily, battery life seems very good, but it would be nice if it didn't turn on quite so easily.

Other than these minor issues, the light's been great.
