Great Nutritional Drink

I am a type one diabetic who is trying to reduce the number of carbs and increase the amount of protein in my diet. I drink one of these for breakfast and it holds me over until lunch. I take less insulin now which is better when it comes to losing weight. I will definitely recommend this drink to others! This is not a milk shake from Baskin Robbins people, it is a low fat, low carb, high protein drink, it will not taste unbelievably delicious. I am a very picky eater and would not be recommending this if it tasted bad. This drink taste much better than the other GNC drinks I used to buy. I highly recommend it.

Great Stuff

To the guy who complained about lack of mouthfeel--hey buddy, you're not drinking a milkshake! You are getting 20 grams of protein in 110 calories. The chocolate flavor is great stuff (the vanilla less so, but still good). I had gastric bypass 5 months ago, and this is my regular breakfast. What could possibly beat a tasty, easy 20 grams? I can't claim to have tried EVERY product out there, but of the stuff I have tried, NOTHING came close to the combination of ease, taste, low calories, and low carbs of this drink.

I love ZOIC Belgian Chocolate nutrition drink. It's low-calorie, low-fat, and very filling. The taste if very good and the protein keeps me satisfied for a least a couple of hours, if not longer. This is definitely best when served well-chilled. I buy both vanilla and chocolate flavors to have around when I need a meal or snack on-the-go. This flavor is my favorite of the two.

Good Protein Drink - Recommended

I tried the "Zoic Nutrition Drink" as a replacement to Slim-Fast Low-Carb Ready To Drink, Creamy Chocolate, 11-Ounce Cans in 4-Count Boxes (Pack of 6) for my after workout breakfast. The Slim-Fast has 20g of Protein and Zoic has 21g, but the Zoic is roughly 30 cents cheaper a can (significant over a couple months). Here are my general observations:

* This is not a "Shake" (as another reviewer pointed out), but more like a "YooHoo"

* Provides a lot of vitamins (mostly the same or better than Slim-Fast)

* Taste is a lot like a weak "YooHoo" with a very slight after-taste

* Sweetened with "Splenda", which I like a lot

* Only 2 net carbs

The Zoic is not as filling as a Slim-Fast, but is a good Protein drink at a less expensive cost. Recommended!

Liquified cardboard

That's the best description of the flavor of this drink. The only thing that allows you to finish the can after you've opened it is the fact that it's delivering nutritional benefit. Just like when you take medicine that has an awful taste. There's also the fact that you spent money on it and you're not going to throw it away. I have tried the chocolate flavor of Slim Fast which is 250 calories as oppose to 110 in this drink. The flavor of the Slim Fast chocolate drink is leagues ahead. I don't think the nutritional content is the same, but it does deliver a very good amount. I believe the protein content of Zoic is better, however.
