Frother
5 Oz.. The Bodum Chambord line was recently completed with this exclusive milk frother. The chrome plated steel lid has a deep rim to prevent foam from escaping through the spout. The plunger handle has a comfortable grip and is pleasant and smooth to touch. In less than 30 seconds you can easily whip your preheated milk into the airy foam only a Bodum milk frother can give you. By the way: After you have served your gests, you can put every part of the Chambord in the dishwasher. Capacity: 0.12 liter, 4 oz.

Coffee Press to froth
milk
. It is basically the same concept: a glass carafe and a plunger with mesh. It makes a great foam. At any rate, if you already have a small coffee press, it can probably pull double-duty as a milk
frother
.
Great product for the money
I purchased this after my rechargeable Bon Jour
frother
died within a couple of months--just couldn't justify another $39 to make a latte. I actually had pretty low expectations, but that was quickly corrected when I used it. It is very easy to use, makes great froth and easy to clean. I've tried it starting with cold
milk
, frothing and then heating as well as heating then frothing and the results are similar--although frothing cold milk then heating seems to create a little more froth. If you have a few extra minutes, let it sit after you froth and it is even better!
Although I love the product and would recommend, I thought I would note three issues: 1) milk comes up out of the top hole (where the plunger goes in and out) as you froth and can make a bit of a mess--runs down the side. 2) The froth can sometimes be too thick and essentially like a meringue. I haven't figured out whether that is something I'm doing differently or the frother (btw, I use 2% milk). 3) the glass container seems very thin and I'm on pins and needles that I'll inadvertently knock it over. That said, I'd definitely buy again.
