Based on Eric Carle's children's books, "
Brown
Bear
, Brown Bear,
What
Do
You
See
?" and "
Panda
Bear, Panda Bear, What Do You See?," this
game
introduces children to the magic of story creation, while helping memory and sequencing skills. After players find all the animal cards needed for their sequence, they recite the popular Eric Carle stories they created. Includes a colorful game board, 4 bear cards, 32 animal cards and instructions. For 2 to 4 players.
Perfect for preschoolers
My son received this for his 3rd birthday. It's a great family
game
and it ties into one of his favorite books, "
Brown
Bear
, Brown Bear
What
Do
You
See
?". The rules were easy to learn and we started playing right away. This game helps with memory, recognition, pronunciation of some more advanced words (like "macaroni penguin") and turn-taking. It is easy to enjoy and doesn't take too long (but isn't too short). Most importantly, my son likes to play this game and often pulls it out and wants to play with us.
I definitely would recommend this game to others with toddlers and/or preschool aged children. Especially to those who know/love Eric Carle's books.

Great game
My son got this
game
for his 3rd birthday. When we first started playing it he wanted to play it several times every day. 6 months later, I occasionally say, hey, do
you
want to play
Brown
Bear
Brown Bear and the answer is always yes. We usually play one round the regular way and then one round of Memory. The game is perfect for playing Memory since there are 18 pairs of animal tiles. One thing I really like about this game is that my 1.5 yr. old can participate too. He has learned the meaning of taking turns so when it's "our" turn, he gets to pick a tile and he is able to place it on top of the animal in front of him if I point it out to him. The best part is that he's not disruptive since he gets to play too. We also play a slight variation on the rules. If you pick a tile that belongs in someone else's group of animals, you can put it on their animals rather than put it back in the pile. This helps your friends win too. And we play until everyone wins.

Easy for little ones to play
We bought this
game
for our son's 4th birthday. It's a very easy game to play so he caught on very quickly. However, it's just like any other memory type game and therefore, for adults, it can tend to get boring. The kids like it though.
Fun but has little pieces
This
game
has been great fun. The kids love the tie in with Eric Carle books. I have to watch out for the little cards so that they don't get lost.
Great for preschoolers and offers versatile play
What
I like about this
game
is that if
you
r child is too young to fully understand how to play by the rules, or if they just don't want to, you can use the game pieces to play Memory. Each animal comes in a pair, so you can lay them all face down and find its match. My daughter likes to pull the pieces out of the box one at a time and place it over its picture on the board until all the pieces are gone, so it can be a solitary game as well.
It's even more fun for them when they recognize the animals from the Eric Carle books. Would make a great gift, especially when paired with one or more of the books on which this game was based.
The game pieces themselves are quite sturdy, which is nice when playing with the age group this game is intended for, but our board has a rip in it from being folded the wrong way a few times. Nothing earth shattering, but just something to note.
