The 1997 Zun Cha Brick is a classic Pu-erh. The leaves flake off easily. Flavor is smooth and aged, and will mature into an even finer brew as the years pass. Get this tea while its young, and enjoy its amazing subtleties as it ages! The leaves are black and semi-cooked with a monitored fermentation (oxidation). The leaves are large, and even though they are fermented, some of the leaves are intact. A great addition to any tea collection, this Pu-erh makes a perfect gift. The taste is smooth and silky; its subtle sweetness is released over the course of 5 or 6 brews. The brick itself will yield about 50 servings. Produced in the Yunnan Kunming Tea factory. 250 grams.
