Taking My Workout to a New Level 
I have been researching the benefits of Maca root powder for months. As a homeschooling mother of four (1, 4, 7 and 10) and multiple business owner, I finally came to the conclusion that I needed something to help me keep my energy during my early morning training sessions. I wanted to avoid caffeine and artificial stimulants. Additionally, I needed something that complemented my vegan diet. The Navitas Maca Powder did the trick. I added it to my hemp protein drink and I noticed a difference immediately. I adjusted the serving size several times to give me just enough energy. Now I find myself recommending it to all of my friends and associates.
Maca power
The first time i tasted this it reminded me of a malt shake. I mix it with my protien shake and its tolerable. I have tried sprinkling it over food and the taste is overbearing. Smoothie seems to be the best way to have this powder.
As far as energy and health benefits that remains to be seen. I does have a tendancy to cause insomnia. I drank some in a smoothie before going to bed and I had trouble sleeping that day. Alertness and clarity is what I have noticed from using this product.
It is by no means sweet. Bitter/malty/nutty flavor is what I would use to describe. Navitas is definately the best value.
If anybody knows what the recommended dosage/amount per day please comment.
Love this Maca
I have used Maca for over a year. I feel better when I drink it in a shake and it seems to clear my head. I think it helps me think better personally.
I add it to my protein drinks in the morning before work.
Great "Secret Ingredient"
This product tastes great to me, and I use it in a lot of different dishes like chili, hot cereal, stew, chili relleno sauce, braised meats, sauces, and on and on. It adds a certain something to sweet and savory dishes when added as a condiment, and of course your recipe is a secret, for no one can identify the little added flavoring.
Tastes Great...very much like malt in a smoothie :)
This is one of the best Maca powders I have ever tried...the taste is excellent and its energetic effects are very noticeable. I highly recommend Nativas Naturals products across the board!
