bugs get bagged

just unfold / hang and withing hours you have an inch of these japanese beetles bagged....and it just kees filling from there!. Roses are already looking better, as is the birch

Full in 3 days

These bags worked wonders. We hung them on shepards hooks away from the house and in an empty lot next door. Within 3 days these bags were completely full. I think between the 2 of them there literally must have been 20 pounds of beetles. They do their job. These are an excellent alternative to poision to get rid of this nasty little critters.

Awesome Product

I have tried sprays for my trees and rose bushes and if I killed a few hundred I was lucky. I set up 10 traps around my 2 acre lot and within the past three weeks I have trapped 20 lbs plus!! I can't believe how great they work! A+++

Japanese Beetle Trap

Very easy to set up. Be sure to have a tall stake on which to hang the trap. We have used a metal post with a hook made for a bird feeder. The first day of use, I estimated catching about 200 beetles. The only thing one needs to watch is the WEATHER. Move it under cover if it's going to rain. If you haven't heard the weatherman but notice the absence of Japanese beetles on your plants or at the trap, that's a positive clue that rain is in the forecast (or its after 3 PM when the beetles return to their nests in the ground).

It rescued our apple trees but the beetles don't like it one bit

I bet everyone knows how this works, right?

There is a slippery bag and some pellet at the mouth that smells in ways that attracts the Japanese Beetles. They try to get to the pellet but they fall in the bag and they can't come out of it because it's slippery and there's not enough room for them to take flight. This is so efficient, you could get 'pounds' of beetles after the first couple of days. Disposal is a little bit of a problem because there's nothing that kills them. So, after a few days, you end up with a bagful of mostly alive insects, desperately struggling to get out of there.

The good side of this: they don't kill you fruit trees. They almost managed to destroy a couple before they got this treat but if you can't stand the idea of mass insect entrapment... think of something else.
