The electric peppermill with light is so easy to use that by just pressing the button, it automatically dipenses peppercorns. A mini light illuminates the area below the mill and requires six AAA batteries.

Great review

I am very pleased with the MIU Stainless Steel Battery Operated Electic Salt Mill. My only question is why do they say in the directions it is not made for salt? It appears that they just took the MIU Pepper Mill (which I have) and put it in a salt mill box. As of right now it works so I am pleased (at least until it corrodes from the salt).

Almost One Year and Still Going

I bought this after my old battery operated grinder stopped working after several years. I am very happy with this and I entertain a lot. Everyone always "hints" at how much they like it and now I have to buy one for one of my close friend's birthday next month...I guess that's the downside -It will keep costing you money! Too bad they are not cheaper.

Classy looking and works as advertised.

This is a great tool for any modern kitchen. The Mill is actually pretty large and one filling of peppercorns will last a long time. The light is useful for romantic candlelit dinners. It is also a stylish item- it was featured in an episode of "CSI: Miami" last year (the cops hid a listening device inside of the mill).

It's an expensive item, but something that should last you 5+ years.

Excellent pepper grinder: substantial item, excellent grind

Our old electric grinder was much less substantial, continually disassembled itself and was a nuisance by comparison.

This grinder is solid, grinds pepper perfectly and has an excellent quality exterior.

Works Prefectly

I love this product , it works great. I'm able to stand at the stove and add as much or as little fresh pepper to a dish one handed while stirring with the other. This purchase has been one of my best purchases in a while.
