Heavy Duty powder coated steel tubes provide convenient storage of lumber and other long materials. Each support measures 41" tall and has six fixed position sturdy arms 12" long, each with a generous storage capacity of over 110 lbs. Organize that pile of wood that has been lying around on the floor and discover wood you have probably forgotten about. Assembly and installation is quick and easy plus the Wood Rack takes up very little space wherever you mount it, inside or out. Suggested width is 4' to 6' apart, depending on length of boards and storage area. For longer boards we suggest buying an extra set. Instructions are printed on packaging. Mounting hardware is required and sold separately. Sold in pairs.

Excellent product, poor shipping

This is a great product. I bought two, and find that the racks are top notch - the attention to detail is excellent - and they beat anything else I could find for the money.

Install is a snap, but make sure you have appropriate mounting hardware for your type of wall. They come with everything you need except for lag bolts, toggles, anchors, etc - whatever is appropriate for your wall. I used 1/4"x3" lags into wood studs or lag shields drilled into block.

The only problem with these racks is the shipping - Amazon really needs to put them inside a second box. Boxes for both of my racks came with some minor damage, and one plastic spacer was a bit funky but it still did the trick.

In summary: good luck with the packaging, but if everything arrives in one piece you can't do better.

Great space saver

This thing was a snap to put together and is holding some really heavy 1x12 lumber so it is not in my storage building anymore. It was a snap to put together and went up with no problem in about 10 minutes.

Dissapointed

I ordered this rack because everything I had seen previously mentioned these were made in Australia, well the package arrived & low & behold they are now being made in communist China! I havent had time to install them but they appear "OK" & will do the job. I didnt experience any of the shipping damage issues others mentioned. One thing to note no mounting hardware is included nor do the weak instructions mention the size required, this isnt really a big deal for those who know what theyre doing but the manufacturer should at a minimum advise what hardware will be needed for the basic mounting scenarios IMNSHO.
