2003 follow-up to the eight-times-platinum in the US debut, Hybrid Theory, promises to be one of the biggest albums of the year. Enhanced CD packaged in a digipak. WB.
Love Linkin Park!
Linkin Park has never put out anything I'm not happy with. This CD is just as great as their others. Love it!
Strikes Like a Meteor
This album has a jillion reviews already, and the main spotlight one has the breakdown of all of the tracks, so I won't go into this in as great detail as I usually do.
Basically, this is the best album Linkin Park has put out to date. Their hybrid style of metal, techno, rap, hip-hop, and chill works best in all of these songs. Some of them are excellent, intense, hard-rocking tracks, such as "Lying From You," "Faint," "Figure 0.9" (still my favorite), and of course, "Numb." Also has a number of good, powerful ballad-type songs, like "Somwhere I Belong," "Breaking the Habit," "Easier to Run," and "From the Inside." "Session" is also an excellent techno instrumental interlude.
It's all great, and would be essential listening for any fan of heavy metal. The disc also has some nifty bonus stuff on it when you pop it into the computer (I forget what exactly, though; pictures and stuff).

This is why Linkin Park is one of my favorite bands...
Linkin Park has done it again. I loved Hybrid Theory, but this is probably my favorite CD that Linkin Park has produced to date. Everything is done better. There are more tracks, more songs, and broader emotional appeal.
Obviously hits like "Somewhere I belong" and "Lying away from you" are awesome. Other songs like "Nobody's Listening" are great as well. The songs combine metal, rap, and electronica extremely well. If you are a fan of any of those genres then this CD is for you. The songs appeal to your emotions. Whether you are feeling like an outsider or feel you have mistrusted, this CD has tons of songs for you.
I will say that I hated the song "Breaking the Habit". Many people enjoy the song, but I just do not. All the other songs on this CD are great to listen to though. Pick this one up as soon as possible.

Metal legends. Who needs Lamb of God, Slayer, or Death?
For all those of you posers listening to Slayer, Pantera, Lamb Of God, Shadows Fall, Anthrax, and Exodus; back off. If you dont like Linkin Park's wonderful music, don't review them. Linkin Park are more talented than Joe Satriani and Cliff Burton combined. For other great metal check out Limp Bizkit, Korn, and Papa Roach
Great listen
A pretty good sophomore album i would say. I wouldn't call reanimation a second album because it has the songs from the first album, but this is a good listen.
