Serious barbecuers need serious tools, and this 18-inch-long grill cleaning brush fits the bill. An oversized rubber grip covered with little knobs for texture fits medium to large hands. Brass bristles on the head last through many grill cleanings and rinse out thoroughly. The steel scraper on the top gets off all kinds of baked-on food debris, but is not meant for use on porcelain cooking grids as scratching can occur. A leather loop on the end of the wooden handle makes hanging up the brush a snap. Discard when bristles are worn out.--Ann Bieri

Great brush for the price!

This brush does exactly what it is intended to do. It's not the kind of brush that will last you for more than one season of heavy grilling, but then again, most won't. At this price, consider it disposable. I've used it over 40 times to really scrape off my grill grates and it's still working. The bristles are getting a little flat in the front, and the rubber handle has split a bit, but the metal "lip" helps get the job done. For now it's still going strong and when it goes out, probably after another 40 grilling sessions, I'll buy another.

This is a product I was not sure about just from seeing the picture. Once it arrived, I was very pleased with my choice. The picture doesn't do it justice. It is very sturdy and the rubber grip helps too!!! Great gift for a man or woman that loves to grill.

Good brush at a good price

I'm on my second Mr. Bar-B-Q wood brush and as long as they keep selling it at the value price, I imagine I will keep buying them. No, they don't last forever-- eventually the bristles will get clogged with a greasy sludge (how long that is depends on the frequency of use), but while it lasts, it does a fine job cleaning and scraping your grill. What sets it apart is the long handle and large head covered in brass bristles. While those bristles could stand to be a bit longer, they are still longer than many. The scraper side is quite strong and does not bend or break easily. You get a lot for your money with this solid product which could last several seasons.
