This magazine is edited for people interested in food. It explores the authentic cuisines of the world, tracks recipes and ingredients to their places of origin and illuminates their history, traditions and local flavors. It includes all aspects of the world of food including eating, cooking and reading. In addition, it contains informative news about the latest in culinary trends, kitchen tips and techniques and a calendar of culinary events.
My favorite magazine (and I like a lot of 'em)!
I liked the "National Geographic" allusion that a couple other folks mentioned in their reviews. That is really very true.
Saveur
takes the best of both worlds-travel and food-and combines them in one of the most interesting, well-written and photographed magazines out there. When it arrives I feel like a wonderful little treasure has just entered the house and I look forward to the moment when I can sit down with a cup of tea (or maybe a glass of wine!) to read Saveur.

Excellent articles but I haven't been able to use any of the recipes. If you order this magazine be sure you just want to read what others are cooking.

That may sound a bit racy, but it's true. Luscious pictures, great recipes, and global locales. What could be nicer?

Saveur
offers those with an interest in the culinary arts a taste of dishes from all around the globe. Great writers, great articles and glossy print-paper make this a good bargain as well. There's also very nice artwork and photography to complement the substantive writing, too.

This magazine introduces the reader/cook to other cultures and regions of the world so it gives a lot of pleasure and a global education to anyone open to a more sophisticated approach to their lives and their kitchens.
