With the Oregon Scientific BAR338PA ExactSet Projection Alarm Clock you can keep your pretty little head on the pillow in the morning. Just tap the snooze button & the clock will momentarily project the time on the wall or ceiling in soft red light. You can even rotate the projector forward 90 degrees if needed. And being an ExactSet clock, it automatically sets it's own time, day, & date via the US Atomic Clock in Boulder, Colorado. It automatically connects to the Atomic Clock 6 times a day via it's built-in radio receiver. It even adjusts for Daylight Savings Time & Leap Year. Day-of-week in one of 3 languages - English, French, Spanish Alarm - Crescendo Battery Type - 2 AAA

pros:

accuracy. got to have at least one clock in the house as an impecable time machine.

spotlighting of the time and temp on the ceiling in big red numerals certainly gets your attention at 3am. makes me laugh and shake my head.
great idea.

cons:

five second backlight is too short. ten seconds would be better for us smooth brain old guys.

the alarm sucks, again for us older dudes. my wife, three rooms away, said "is that the alarm?" i had the clock up to my ear and said "what alarm?" i mean she has dog ear hearing, and i don't. hmm, i mean that in a nice way. i suggest the manufacturer crank it up a cuasimoto(sp)or two (humped back ND bell ringer) for us slightly hearing challenged people and heavy duty sleepers.

overall, i do like the device and would buy it again for the accuracy and the red numbers on the ceiling.

It works as it is supposed to - very easy to use and very useful. I wish all products were like this.

Grandpa likes it!

I bought this clock for my grandpa for his birthday and he loves it! Says it works great and enjoys being able to tell what the weather will be like when he first wakes up, lol.

Good Product!

This is a very good projection clock. I have been nothing but pleased with the operation. The remote weather sensor is a great added feature. It's nice to be able to look up in the morning and see what the temperature outside is.

Overall Very Good product at an excellent price.
