The CDR700 CD-Recorder is Philips' fourth-generation dual-deck recorder and is a perfect choice for the audio enthusiast looking for more options in recording, editing, mixing and compilation. For audio enhancement, the CDR700 features direct line recording, which ensures practically flawless digital copies, and record level adjustment for selecting the volume to ensure optimal recording. Users have a choice of two recording speeds for convenience. This model also provides 2-disk simultaneous Playback (DJ mode) and 2-disk Random Playback. The CDR700 builds in a bookmarking feature, providing track memory to mark and recall tracks previously recorded.Focusing on quality and the integrity of the music recorded, Philips Continuous Laser Calibration ensures that the CD-Recorders keep the maximum quality of writing by continuously adjusting the laser power. The CDR700 features the Continuous Laser Calibration technology and sample rate converters that automatically convert audio signals with different sampling rates to the CD standard (44.1 kHz). This model uses AudioCore with Bitsync technology in the drives for 100-percent accurate copies, ensuring that no music information is lost during the recording process. CDR700 also plays back all audio CDs including CD-Recordable and CD-Rewritable disks. A full-feature remote also is included.
