I started using this 6-Disc cartridge player over ten years ago and am glad to see them coming back. I have at least 300 cartridges and label them by genres so I can have a variety of music. I'm a music collector and I use the random feature as it plays, in random order, every song on all six music CD's in the cartridge! When I burn on an 80-minute blank CD (I have a lot of vinyl to convert to digital) I can often have two albums on one music CD. They take anything that is burned "Red Book", the industry standard of high quality music. Every single song is played and if one CD has five songs that haven't played yet, then they play out and the player stops. You can have as much as eight hours maximum of music at your finger tips! I am glad this player is coming back and that the cartridge 3-pack is here to stay! I had purchased two back-up players in case one dies. Now, let the music live on!

I have purchased PIoneer products since 1992 and have been very satisfied with the durability and quality.

Pioneer does the job

Have only had the Pioneer CD changer for a couple of months, but so far it is serving our purpose of playing multiple disks songs in random order. It did not come with an amplifier, nor a reminder that I needed one, so I had to jury rig with an old combination record/casette/radio player that serves as my amplifier. Plus it did not come with any connection wires, so had to jury rig with what I had.

CD changer that works

I purchased this CD after reviewing many other CD changers. This model is also a newer version of a player my dad had when I was growing up. It worked great then, and it works great now. It doesn't have any bells and whistles, but I love to throw in a good mix of music, hit RANDOM and relax... Perfect for the casual listener.
