I was given this Melitta Mill by a friend who only used a few times, as the grind was too coarse. I tried it, and it did, indeed, seem coarser than I desired. Since there was no manual with the coffee mill, I searched the Web, and ended up with R. Johnson's 2005 feedback. I followed his suggested adjustments, and--voila--the grind is now fine and the machine works just great, definitely better than my blade grinder and a lot less than other burr and cone grinders. At the listed price, this is a pretty good deal, even if not as good as mine. Again, thank you R. Johnson of Illinois, wherever you are!
