Inspiring but don't buy it from Amazon!

This is one of the best wearable arts magazines around. Inspiring and full of new techniques that are well described and photographed. However the price that Amazon charges is nearly *twice* the charge at the publisher's website. Go there to order it. I've tried numerous times to point out the discrepancy, but they ignore me completely.

Belle Armoire is an amazing magazine for people interested in creating or simply enjoying one of kind accessories and embellished clothing that are true works of art. Every issue is a treat...but I agree...I've also contact Amazon about the pricing...go to www.stampington.com and pay half.

Beautiful magazine

I agree with the above reviews. I would just add that this magazine is more for inspiration than instruction, as is Ornament; they both do this very well.

If you are looking for detailed instruction, you would do well to check out Art Jewelry, Bead Style, etc.

Great Magazine - Terrible price

As has been already noted, if you go to the Stampington.com website, you can get the same magazine, same number of issues for only $29.95.

The magazine is glossy and beautifully photographed and the articles well written. Inspirational to the artist within all of us.

Fabulous Journey into Creativity of all Sorts

My issues of Belle Armoire are elegant and fantastic. I cannot belive what some people can do and make to express their creativity! I mean this in the most positive way.

I don't look at the expense of some of the incredible items, or the unusual choices and manners of expressing loveliness, I simply try to understand and appreciate what makes an artist tick as she or he goes about creating beauty. I believe that that is what this Belle Armoire is all about. Finding beauty in all sorts of places.

The magazine is presented on the finest paper and the photgraphs are terrific. If one item doesn't catch your fancy, wait a second: something else will!

The "Salon" section is always a terrific inspiration to me, as people like you and me are chosen to be showcased there, in a cool and respectful way. This is great for aspiring artists. It shows that it CAN be done! WE can do it! We may not be known yet, but we will be!

This magazine offers altered couture,hands on projects, jewelry to learn to make, all kinds of things.
It's definitely worth owning!
