Multicultural Magazines!

Skipping Stones is an awesome magazine! I love how it showcases work from all over the world, including countries like India and China. It also has many interesting articles on different cultures, imporant people, and certain themes, such as peace, war, tolerance, etc. Ever year, Skipping Stones sponsors a Youth Honor Awards program. The winner receives a certificate and 5 nature and/or multicultural books. I submitted to them this year and I WON! You never know until you try. In Skipping Stones, I really like the folktales, the information on different countries and religions, and the poems. The magazine accepts submissions from both youth and adults. Skipping Stones is GREAT!
