great book. Very didactic

This book gives a nice grammatical background. It proposes a lot of exercises. And it gradually increases the level.

Good Start with Spanish

Puntos de Partida is a good choice for you to start learning Spanish. However, it requires you to buy more : lab and workbook for practice, besides that, you have to get a CAN-8 software to do the lab work. McGraw Hill truly knows how to earn money from student!!!

Anyway, take a look at this book carefully every chapter. practice it everyday. I think it's the best Spanish book for beginners!
