most comprehensive survival manual

I own this manual, an Airforce manual from Vietnam era,given to me by a relative who was a Escape and Invasion instructor for the Airforce and actually gained weight when he attended survival school. I also own the Army Survival manual, this manual is by far the most comprehensive and most informative, if I had to own just one manual or one military guide book this would be it. If your looking for all around, all information in one book, this is it. If you enjoy reading the same information over and over go ahead and buy the others, but this gives you all that info and then some.

a good book

If you ever watch any of the survival shows on the discovery channel, lot of whats in this book will seem familiar to you. At the very least it should give you a better strategy then running through the woods screaming and waiting to get eaten by a bear.

The best book for dads and their sons

I bought this book for my son in addition to "the dangerous book for boys"
This book is great for dads and their sons to read together. The book talks about all kinds of survival topics. It deals with life saving situations. Dads if you love your sons and you want them to be prepared for thsoe times when using your head really matters.....this is the book.
