Complete original stories and drawings

This is a complete collection with original drawings. This includes the little train at the bottom of the page that progresses from left to right as each story progresses.

A bonus is a beautiful Island of Sodor map in the inside covers. Many, if not all, of these stories have been animated in the PBS show Thomas and Friends. The originals are really great stories for reading and have some twists such as an early black James and blue Henry.

Correction

A previous reviewer said that this was a complete collection with original drawings - and while it is with original drawings, this is NOT a complete collection. It is fourteen complete books of the twenty-six written by Rev. W. Awdry.

Don't buy this if you don't want to read to your child constantly!

I bought this for my nephew's 5th birthday, however my 3 year old son wanted it keep it so badly that I ended up getting him a copy too. Both boys absolutely love this book. It's a really nice hardcover book with a ribbon bookmark. The kind of book they will be able to read to their own children one day.

A story for everyday

This is an amazing book. I didn't realize it was so large. It seems there is a story for everyday of the year. It is a beautiful keepsake. My daughter reads a story to my grandson every night and he really looks forward to it. He keeps the book right next to his bed.

Great Stories

I'm 13, and I still enjoy Thomas and his friends. When I was little, I had a copy of this book. The cover was different, but it was an older edition. This collection of stories includes one when Henry was blue, and many other stories. It is great for children who enjoy Thomas and storytime.
