Infants that read

I bought the Dr. Seuss Baker's Dozen for my 6 month old grandson. Many of you may say that a child that young can not read, but my daughter has always read to the baby. As she reads the stories the baby will actually reach out and turn the pages when she reaches the last sentence on the page. Also if she ask where is the fish, he will point out the fish bowl. It is never to early to start reading to your child. My daughter has now started teach him sigh language and he picks it up so fast. Teach your children a broad avenue of knowledge at a young age. Children love the attention and love to learn.

great book

This is a great book for reading to your children. I would not suggest buying it if you are looking for a book for your child to read himself. We wanted to buy Dr. Suess books for our little girl but didn't want to spend $10 a book. This was a great compromise. The interesting insights about Dr. Suess himself makes the book even more special. Not only do we like reading the book to our daughter but enjoy reading it ourselves. This could defintely be a classic itself.

Great Book!

this is a great book. My 4 yr old loves it! she wanted to hear all the stories the firt day! The only thing is that we have to sit up in bed and I have to put it on my lap to read it because its so big and heavy! but the pictures are nice and big and colorful. It's Great! I recommend it.
