Great DVD

Jodie Foster again has made a terrific movie. Hope there is more like this one with her in it.

Whether you can or can't

survive what is coming, the goal is to take as many of the bad guys out as you can. Bravery is useful but not necessary- honor is. Whatever her thoughts on what she did or questions were on what she did, she did what was honorable and necessary.

If it helps, I place no value on the lives of criminals who physically assault people. They are simply targets.

Very impressed...

I was reluctant to watch this because I was thinking it might be a "female" remake of Charles Bronson's "Death Wish".Imagine my surprise when I was hoping that she wouldn't turn herself in.Not that I believe in "viglante" but it was a woman,who lost the love of her life,was viciously attacked and her dog was taken.Famous words from Dirty Harry.."Make my day...punk"

finally some good stuff

A radio host (Jodie Foster) witnesses her fiance's death and is left for dead. When she comes back to, she gradually sets out to get revenge on her fiance's killers.

It's about time a female character in a movie is shown taking revenge and justice in her hands. Sorry for all the people out there that did not enjoy the movie because they didn't think Foster's character was realistic. But if these things were to happen to you, I'm quite certain, you, like Foster's character, would take the law in your hands and chase after the bad guys. So this is a great film for that.
I also enjoyed Foster's performances, though at times some scenes stretched out.

Not Bad.

I like Jodie Foster in this movie. It was a little dark and shocking, but that's what kept me so interested. All in all, not a bad movie- I've seen it twice already.
