Devastating

It's a great shame that this movie did not get the audience it deserved. Every American should watch it. Yes, it's a movie, so yes, it's melodramatic. And yes, dear Bushies, some of these practices started before 9/11, but certainly George W has taken it to the limits. This is a beautiful, thoughtful, provocative film -- watch it! Then think about where we are going as Americans.

Interesting twist

generally, i don't like message movies and, though i had this movie available to me for review before it hit theatres, for that reason i waited until just recently to view it. and i was pleasantly surprised. in particular, the twist at the end which i never saw coming or, for that matter, never saw employed in a movie before. i had to go back to the beginning of the movie to see if i had missed anything. it kept me interested thru out the movie.
though there is some truth (but not entirely) to the message, anyone should be able to enjoy this movie just for the suspense and the unique twist.

UNBELIEVABLE! Leftist aspects of plot, though.

This movie was out of this world--out of our world, that is. If you want to see what some of these more-violent Middle Eastern cultures are, here you go. It doesn't seem believable that other cultures could be like that, but that's how they really are. This is the first movie I've ever seen that depicts it the way it really is.

Keep in mind that this movie gets as far left as it can with all of the usual far left perceptions. They show torture in it and all of that stuff. Everyone sane realizes that the US doesn't torture people and that only 3 of all of the terrorists have been water-boarded, but that's how the movie perceives it. Also, they never show what the result was of the guy they catch. They never show him being guilty or innocent, which is a real cliffhanger at the end of the movie.

So, if you want to know about extreme, Middle Eastern culture and like movies where all of the characters are intertwined, I definitely recommend it. Like I said, the plot runs a little left, but it's still a very watchable movie. Because of the far-left agenda, I give it 4 stars instead of 5.

Interesting but no rendition

The Rendition message...? To be different in America could be costly, especially since certain people have gone power mad and have taken it upon themselves to rend lives in a quest which has derailed egalitarianism. The movie did the job of dramatizing what we all know is actually happening, a campaign to enable Americans to enjoy pristine lives. A high caliber cast of actors served to entice me to watch this DVD.

When we bred flesh eating monsters in our own backyard what can we expect? This is so unreal. We must realize that no matter how strenuous the home-cleaning, the effectiveness will be nullified when the next door neighbour nourishes a house full of rats and roaches. The process of fumigation will cause some innocent ones to suffer collateral damage during the campaign exercise. This is real!

Who is to blame? How can we safely get the chaff out without destroying the wheat? When will it stop? Enough already! Everyone must stop the eye gorging before the entire world goes blind. I give it a three star for depressing as it brought to my frontal lobe the dark reality of destruction in this world.
