Virtually indispensable
This easily qualifies as one of the five best pieces of baby/toddler gear I've bought to date, especially for the price. It has eliminated the whole public bathroom trauma my kid suffered while training as it's made her comfortable on the "big potties" everywhere (elongated or not--seems to work equally well on both). I travel fearlessly with this in tow. I was grateful to have been alerted by another reviewer to the potential pinching hazard it poses, which I do think is real but easily avoided with minimal care.
It's lightweight and compact, fits easily in a standard bag. And it's a clean and convenient alternative to toting around a portable
potty
until a toddler is comfy on the big seats.

Just what we needed!
I read the other reviews before purchasing this item, and I went ahead and bought it... hoping we could figure out the right way to use it! It is just great, as far as I can see, and I'm sad that more parents might not try this product due to the ratings. Read on - you DO need to line it up with the front "lip" over the front edge of the toilet seat you're placing it on - not at all hard to do. It does not cover the whole top area of the toilet - probably just the front half, making it just the right size for a small person. I don't quite understand how someone thought the
handles
were where the legs should go... I think the handles are well-placed - right where my daughter would be gripping dirty toilet seat edges! (Also, as someone got cut, perhaps there was something faulty with that one product. The hinges seem very well-constructed on ours.) In this day and age, there is NO WAY I would let my daughter sit on a public toilet seat, and those paper covers shift and don't work for a wiggly toddler. My daughter sat on this and felt very secure - in no way like she would if I were trying to "suspend" her over the toilet. This product is just what we needed for travelling, and I'm glad we have it!!!

PRIMO potty seat
This product appears as it is described and does fold nicely to fit into a diaper bag. However, when I tried to use it with my 3 year old on a public toilet, it folded inward and didn't look like it would hold him well. It didn't help with encouraging
potty
use to say the least. I don't recall a weight limit, but my son is approximately 30 pounds.
Good for public restrooms
This
folding
seat is small enough to tuck away in a bag. It holds my child who is over 30 lbs. It doesn't really fit on any of the seats that we've used it for. But it does what it is supposed to do; it gives my child the added assurance of not falling into the toilet! There may be better ones out there, but for the price, it serves it's purpose.
