Saved me a lot of mooola!!!

This hose has saved me a lot of dough. I was using the portable blue tanks and they would only last me for about 2 short bbq's. I purchased this with a 20lb tank and it has been 3 months since refilling. Hose is pretty well built. Depending on your location chipmunks might be a problem. This is a must if you want to same money.

20 Pound Tank Adapter works GREAT!

Weare a family of 2 and the small Weber Q grill is perfect for us. Since we cook mostly at home, the tank adapter saves us money because we don't need to purchase little bottles of propane unless we are travelling with it. It offers great flexibility and I highly recommend this item.

Awesome and convenient!

I'm so glad I got one of these. Using those skinny 1 pound cylinders was a pain in the neck, so now now having a full-sized propane tank is so much more convenient! I have to add, however, that getting the adapter to screw onto the grill was a bit frustrating, but overall, I'm happy with my purchase.

tip for using this adapter

When we first hooked up the hose and ignited our weber, it lit right up. But then the flame was uneven and wouldn't stay lit. It turns out that after you hook it up and open the propane valve, you have to wait 60 seconds before igniting the grill. It does say it in the directions, but of course, we didn't read those first.

Weber Baby Q Adapter Hose

The grill accumulates a lot of grease to begin with so if you keep your tank under the grill it will grease up and possibly attract squirrels. We keep the tank to the side of the grill and the hose is out of the way so that there is no grease accumulation on the hose. As far as the adapter hose itself, it is fantastic. I wish we had purchased it last summer. We have followed everyone's advice about turning on the gas from the tank first for about a miniute, and then turning on the grill. It works wonderfully.
