a Great Coffee Maker!

I purchased this DC-1200 last summer and love this coffee maker. It makes a wonderful cup of coffee and is very easy to use. Great machine!

Excellent coffee maker

I'm glad to see this is still for sale. I bought one in April 2007, and have been meaning to post a review ever since. I was concerned about comments that the ergonomics weren't great -- hard to pour water in, couldn't see the water measure -- and those comments were correct. But I find these problems very minor. Once I got my formula right, I just used the carafe to measure the water. While pouring water in is a bit awkward, you get used to it quickly. Although for me these problems keep the coffee maker from deserving five stars, it's otherwise, it's just right. It makes coffee quickly, the coffee tastes great, the take-a-cup feature is fine, and it keeps coffee just warm enough (it never tastes burnt). And in the year and a half I've had it, it's never even hinted at a malfunction.

Black Cusinart coffee maker is a good choice because unlike the white it doesn't show coffee stain. I like the auto clean light which reminds me to clean with vinegar. This coffee maker is worth the price.
