I never thought I could love a children's book so much.

This one is fun to read, with wonderful rhymes and rhythms, and it has terrific, colorful illustrations. I wish I could find more books like it, because my two sons both adore it. In fact, my 4 year old routinely sneeks it out of my toddler's bedroom, so that I can read it to him again at bedtime.

Wonderful Book

This book is my one-year old son's favorite. It is a great rhyming story with beautiful colorful illustrations. He loves to point out and name all the different toys in the book. We loved this book so much, we bought another book by this author called "My truck is stuck!" and it is equally enjoyable. I highly recommend this book for your little train lover.

LOVE this book!

I have a 1 year old who is mesmerized by this book... the vibrant pictures and rhyming words keep him entertained from start to finish (and start to finish and start to finish)... I usually read it several times before he lets me put it down!

Our son's favorite!!

This is one of our favorites, and we have a pretty extensive board book collection. The text is rhythmic and fun, and the illustrations are excellent. He started saying "choo-choo" and pulling his pretend train whistle shortly after we received it. Even after reading this several times a day for almost 6 months now (12 months old to 18 months now), our son still finds new things to point out in the pictures- and we're not even sick of it! And because it slows down towards the end, "Sleepy, sleepy choo-choo"... it is a great bedtime read!

Great bedtime book

This book is a great quick bedtime story with beautiful color pictures, and of course fun "whoooooo-whooooo" noises. We read it at least twice a day and my 2 year old soon says the "whoooooo-whoooooo" part with me. I have 3 children who all like to be read to at night. My 2 year old gets to pick 2 stories and this is usually one of them. I would highly recommend this book for train lovers and families who enjoy vivid colorful pictures.
