My Kid Loves It - That's Good Enough For Me.

No, this product is not intended as a realistic star projector. My only suggestion to improve it is to include a lot more stars and make the star holes in the shell round instead of star-shaped. There is no reason this can't be a realistic star projector. I agree the amber colored lights are useless, unless you want to use this only as a night light for the amber color of the shell. The blue and green are pretty clear, even with the 11-foot tall ceilings in our house. Anyway, despite my trite complaints, my son who is 2 absolutely loves this star turtle and won't go to bed without it. The 45-minute timer feature is great.

Very Cool Nightlight

We are expecting our first child and the Twilight turtle came highly recommended. Our tests have proven it to be wonderful. Hopefully our son will like it as much as we do!

My son loves his twilight turtle!

This turtle is the best night light ever! My son falls asleep every night staring at the stars on his ceiling. He loves it, I love it! The turtle himself is adorable and he's functional. I'll be buying another one for our next child.

This didn't really work for us until our daughter reached about 18 months. Now, when it is on (right before bedtime) she points at the stars and makes little "wonderous" sounds. The stars are not exactly "clear" but the effect is neat. Only thing I don't like is that it only projects as you see it; i.e., we'd have to put it in the center of the room for it to illuminate on the whole ceiling. Also you have to put it a few feet from the ceiling (or your projection surface) so again, you'd have to have it on something in the middle of the room which doesn't happen often in a nursery.

Very good product

I am very pleased with the quality of this product. My three month old likes to look at the stars and the story book is a nice plus for when she is older, is a good way to teach conservation to kids.
