Happy with this purchase

I just had to replace my old FarberWare slow cooker with this new Rival 6.5 Qt crockpot. This slow cooker has not given me any problems and is very similar to my last one. I have used it a dozen times now and my sauces, chilis, soups, etc. have cooked to perfection.

I highly recommend this slow cooker.

First time crock cooker

I have enjoyed using this product. I have cooked all for 4 to 10 hours, nothing seems to ever burn, just get more tender. I do wish the cooker came with some recipes. Be careful around children, crock gets very hot. A longer cord would be good too.

Perfect EXCEPT...........................

The good points are what makes this crockpot superior to all the others. This Rival heats up very quickly and seems to have a high temp that's a little hotter than some others. Clean up is fast and easy and the glass lid is fantastic BUT don't leave this puppy out where little kids can reach it because the exterior surface gets HOT!
