Have had several different CD Creators, this one has a lot of goodies with it: more than I needed. Lots of good stuff. Works fine in Windows XP Home edition no gliches that I could find.If you don't need all the extra's might want to try an earlier version:Does exactly what it advertizes and more.

Easy Media Creator 7.5 - Lots of pretty good tools

EMC 7.5 has about every function you can think of for working with DVD's and CD's on your PC. It's the Swiss Army Knife approach. Great for (legally) copying DVD's and CD's. Good at working with photos, building slide shows and simple videos.

However, the many functions are due to the fact that it is really many different packages that have been loosely linked together, so it is really not an integrated system with a common user interface. Moreover, if you really want to perform some function in detail -- such as edit digital photos -- EMC lacks the in depth tools you might like. Also, be sure you have a pretty powerful PC if you are going to create and burn CD's. Otherwise, it can take several hours to create a 1/2 hour show.

In summary, unless you really need to focus on some aspect of DVD or CD manipulation, this is a solid package to have around.
