The Holmes window fan cools quietly and efficiently. The thermostat actually works. The product is adaptable to most windows and is a great buy for the money.

Great fan for a great price

We got this fan for our young daughter's bedroom and it works so well in there. I really like how quiet it is and that it is sealed up well so small fingers won't get injured. I have found the thermostat to be very useful. I can leave it on all night and it goes off at the temp I have it set for so my daughter does not get cold. We are now getting 2 more--one for the nursery and one for the kitchen. I would recommend it for small spaces because as the other reviewers say it is not extremely powerful. But overall a great fan for a great price.

Holmes Twin Fan

Over all it isn't bad. It is fairly quiet, I don't have to blast the television or radio when both are on. I like the digital temperature display and the feature that will turn the fan either off or on when a certain temperature is reached. The only thing that was a negative was I don't feel it is powerful enough to do much good when it comes to the exhaust feature. Still I feel it was worth the price.

Good fan, but weak, and slow...

I used this fan for a small room, Good points, quiet, light weight, easy to install, easy to operate. Bad Points, not powerful enough, won't fit to any window, TEMP sensor, useless. My guess is, if you use it in a very small room, and proper fit window, it could be a good vent-exhaust fan.
