Baking pan
Every year my bride and I bake over 3,000 cookies, over 40 loafs of bread and make more than 130 jars of jelly for Christmas gifts. We have used the same
pan
's for 22 years. We decided that this year we would try some new pan's. These pan's are working out great. They will be a real great addition to any bakers kitchen.
Great pan
This
pan
is great. It is sturdy and due to it's
size
and the good sized edge it is useful for all sorts of applications. I bought one to try it out, but I going to get a few more over time, replacing all of the miscellaneaous cookie
sheet
s I have been using so far.

GREAT PAN
This really is an outstanding product. The aluminum is extra thick and yet light. Because it is not nonstick, I do not have to treat the
pan
with special care. Cookies baked at high or low temps are perfect and absolutely no warpage occurs at higher temps, even with convection oven.
I have purchased the medium
duty
version from a professional supply in the past and it does not compare.
If the supplier had handled my order promptly I would not have tried the other version, but as it turns out the comparison is nice to see.
Pan less than terrific
This
pan
looks great: large, with good sides, as if it could do any number of chores. It probably can, but the one chore I most need it for--broiling--seems beyond it. It buckles, so that a quarter of it rises and tips its contents. However, it washes easily, and will even fit in the dishwasher, if necessary.

Mine warped too.
I purchased this
pan
, like some of the others, based on a Cooks Illustrated review. I was excited when I received it as it seemed quite sturdy. All pans I've had in the past have been cheaper, flimsy ones and all warped and "bent" in the oven. I used this new pan for the first time on Thanksgiving in a 450 degree oven and it warped after being in the oven only 10 minutes -- one of the corners "bent" up, just like all of the other pans I've had in the past. Disappointing -- and surprising -- especially since it does have a "
heavy
duty
" feeling to it.
