highly recommended

Works very well, but still needs cleaning.

This unit WORKS!!! We actually used this for several months before reviewing; it eliminated swarms of gnats, masses of mosquitoes, and lots of other pests. We live near rice fields and multiple streams with lots of mosquitoes. We went several weeks without a bug zapper and it only took one night using this unit to see a real difference. In prior years we had used another brand with a grid that clogged frequently and required disassembly to clean. The Flowtron still needs some cleaning, swarming gnats will clog it, but canned air or using a compressor does the job. We have yet to see a single "beneficial" insect in the piles on the ground, but it also doesn't attract the yellow jackets. The cord is very short, you will need an outdoor extension cord, and I recommend an "on at dusk, off when you want" controller.

Flowton insect zapper

I used other brands before, but they can not kill big insects. Flowtron can kill any insect that touch its screen.I'll refer it to all of my friends & acquaintance

Better mouse trap

After years of using another brand of insect zapper, I purchased two Flowtrons for my house in Mexico. The other brand had a screen grid that had to be cleaned after every insect attack, and after a while, the transformer died. The other company does not sell replacement transformers. The Flowtron has vertical bars that don't need cleaning (so far), works great, and has replacement transformers. Talk about a no brainer. I'm buying two more.
