Perfectly matched with the beautiful visuals of the film

I really had doubts about this whole brother bear project at first buti gave it a chance and when i saw the movie i was blown away. Unlike others i was not impressed by tarzan, i thought the music didn't match the feeling and style of the movie. Brother Bear was the complete opposite I felt that the music perfectly fit the visuals and the mood of the film. Many will listen to this album on its own and doubt the quality of this music but remember its meant to combine and accentuate the moods and moments in this beautiful wonderful film. If you want to really experience this soundtrack see the movie and the music will come alive for you.

Songs You Just Want To Hear Over and Over...

Disney is trying to create another "Disney Classic" from this movie, and I think they just might succeed. The art of the movie is amazing, each character has such great animation, and it's unbelievable. I study many forms of animation (Since I want to be a 3D artist) and I can tell you it's some of the best Disney has to offer. It is very important then, to have a great musical soundtrack to back up such a great animation/plot.

Disney, in my opinion, has created another sensational musical score for their upcoming movie "Brother Bear". It's the kind of music you just want to keep listening to (Well for me anyway). The Brother Bear Soundtrack has many good songs, along with 3 very good orchestral pieces.

The beat to "Brother Bear" fits with the "Theme" and "Feeling" of the movie (from what I can tell from previews). I think this is going to be one of those movies, where you take your kids to see it, and you notice they are bouncing (or tapping there feet) to the beat and songs of the movie.

The music is lively and friendly. Phil Collins is an excellent artist to bring to the Disney movies. Tina Tuner also has a great song titled "Great Spirits". Another great group to feature in this sound track is "The Blind Boys Of Alabama" singing, "Welcome".

The orchestral pieces are as good as the songs. You can get a good "Feeling" about the movie through these songs. They are well composed, and one of the orchestral pieces "Three Brothers" has an excellent ending to it. It's the type of ending were you want to rewind it and listen to that section of the song again.

I haven't heard a good style of music (from Disney) for quite some time. This style of music reminds me of the great orchestral hits/vocal pieces of "The Lion King", "Beauty and The Beast", and "Aladdin". It's good to know that there will be an excellent soundtrack to follow this movie. If you would like to sample these songs, you can go to the Official Brother Bear website (http://www.disney.com/brotherbear). There they have some brief samples of the songs, which are on the soundtrack.

$14.99 is an excellent price for this soundtrack. I would defiantly recommend this soundtrack to anyone who enjoys good Disney music. I hope the movie "Brother Bear" is as good as this soundtrack is. If it is, then your family is in for a real treat.

One of Disney's best!

I loved this soundtrack. Definitely a must for one's CD collection. Even though the Tarzan soundtrack spun a lot of hit songs,it just wasn't as heartfelt as earlier Disney stuff. But Brother Bear actually delivers.

"On My Way" is probably the best song out there, and it has that Canadian mountain-countryside thing going on,which is great.

I loved it. Go have a listen for yourself.

Phil's Disney Magic

"Brother Bear" Phil Collins second work with Disney. "Tarzan" the first was an excellent album. This album isn't quite as good but still is an excellent collection as Phil writes and collaborates with such artists as Tina Turner, The Bulgarian Women's Choir, Blind Boys Of Alabama, Oren Waters, Mark Mancina & Chris Montan. Some excellent songs on this album, highlighted by the track "No Way Out"(Theme From Brother Bear)...other highlights include "On My Way" and the album's first single "Look Through My Eyes". Once again I think Phil has found a good audience with children in this soundtrack. Adult fans of Phil should find something to like with this album as well. Phil has long left his pop roots behind...but nevertheless he is still a powerful songwriter and these songs go to prove that.
