ouch for the next few days!

these are 2 great workouts!
the first one (the one with the orange cover) is way harder than the second one (purple on cover), and that is because it focuses more on the lower body, it has a lot of kicks and the sets at the end, you are standing up, unlike the purple one you get on the floor and do the buns sets. In general these two are my hard workouts, when i feel like only doings one of these 2 for my daily workout, i think it is more than enough!
I definitely would recommend them, but that is only if you are advanced!!! don't even think of doing these while starting a workout program!! try the basic ones, those are great workouts themselves!!!
but these 2 are pretty hard workouts! don't forget to drink LOTS of water while doing these 2!!!

Great Cardio

These are great cardio workouts that definitely get you sweating. The moves are the same from the basic videos, but there are just more of them meaning more repetitions and some different combinations. The workout is just longer and that's what makes it more difficult. I find tae bo to be a fun workout that doesn't get boring quickly. I'm a runner, and I find Tae Bo just as aerobic as running, so it's a great cross training activity for cold mornings.


Great Workout

Oh my, I just received these two videos in the mail yesterday. I have the original Tae Bo library which I started working out to in Nov 02. I thought Billy was trying to kill me then and that was to the basic workouts! I slowly moved to the advanced in December and was having a ball. For Christmas I got myself Total Tae Bo, an 8 workout set (4 basic, 4 advanced) and have been using that ever since. But these advanced Get Ripped workouts are amazing and the best I've done. There are barely any walkouts so it truly is a cardio workout for about 45m in one and 35-40 in the other. I cannot wait to put these two workouts in my 6 day rotation :)

If you are still doing the basics, take your time to come up the advanced, get your form right! I still do 2-3 basic workouts a week to make sure I'm watching my form. If you think you are ready for advanced, I would definitely suggest these two workouts and remember, work out at your own pace, don't stop - march in place if you need to catch your breath and remember, "You've got to give some, to get some!".

Don't use these tapes unless you are an Advanced user!

I started doing Tae-bo almost a year ago. These tapes aren't like the others. I found some of his Advanced tapes not to be very challenging at all until I found this set on vacation in Florida. Even for an Advanced Tae-bo user like myself I still get pretty winded when doing these tapes (exp. the 1st one). Overall I love Billie. I love his positive outlook on life and the way he includes the viewer into the workout is such a draw towards his videos, besides it being a fun workout and you burn a ton of calories (I was told 800 per hour!)


Fast paced, challenging videos

I love Tae Bo! I'd have to say that these two videos are great! They are fast paced and keep you on your toes! Not a moment of the video is boring! The only reason I don't rate this five stars is because they don't have the buns, abs, and thighs like the regular Advanced video. And it also, like many of the Advanced videos...dosen't have much of a warm up. You just start off jumping around and then doing a few strethes! I still love these tapes because they are a great workout and the results are fast!
