One of the Best DVD's on the market for Home Audio

For those of us who have high end home audio equiptment, this DVD is one of the few that will show off it's capabilities and for all the rest of you this DVD will make your system sound better than you ever thought it would....It is awsome....those people who ranked this DVD with 1 star are nuts...they must have a 4" screen and listening to the sound through a pair of 1950's style speakers that crackle if you set the volume knob beyond 3. Honestly I have over 300's DVD and when someone new comes over my house this is the DVD I put on to show off....You will love it....

Experience High Speed Racing

Best high speed race video ever made. High quality IMAX video at home, strap yourself in for a high speed Formula 1 experience. If you like racing sports (or just driving fast), this film is a must. If you have a good video / sound system, this video will bring it to life. If you are a Andretti racing fan, this video will is very satifing. It has excellent racing video, sound is excellent, good history, behind the scenes footage and a great story. The extra video on the making of Superspeed way is very interesting.

This video makes those on board race car cameras look like toys.
This is the real thing. If you ever wondered what it is really like to be in a Formula 1 race car, you can get very close with this video.

Do yourself a favor and get this video. You will watch it more than once.

Must have for race fans

DTS sound and Imax image quality make this a must own for race fans and home theater junkies.

The making of portion of this DVD is also excellent.

Update:
I loaned first DVD to "friend" that lost it in a divorce. I repurchased and found new version also contains WMVHD disk. Playing it from PC to 1920x1080p LCD yields amazing picture. If you have a progressive HDTV you need this disk (and a HTPC). Could only be better if it was Formula One instead of CART.

Really cool documentary

This new and enhanced version with DTS sound and widescreen image it's really a cool feature to own. Mario Andretti drives the car as fast as the real thing, even with a bulky IMAX camera on-board (which he controls himself, BTW).

Some parts do have some light flickering (and that's mentioned briefly in the Making-of part) but they are rare and not very noticeable.

It's a documentary about racing.

Great Movie, but could use better sound

In my opinion the content of the movie is great, the use tons of angles in the shots for the cars, but the dvd does not come with DTS as it says, you only get dolby digital.
