Fry-a-Rama!

Perfect size to make a smallish batch of fried food. Since its recent purchase we've made fried pickles, wontons, egg rolls, battered veggies, and samosas. It's been an easy, splatter-free process. Just fill about half-way with oil (we use canola) and give it a few minutes to warm up. You can have a second batch frying while you eat the first, should you want more. Let cool first, put on the lid, and that's it. I like that there's no temperature knob, no guessing involved. Just heat and eat.

Presto FryDaddy is great

The new and improved Presto FryDaddy is great. The cord is longer and has a magnetic contact which should last much longer.

Great Product

I liked my Fry Daddy so much, I purchased an additional one for my mother. I generally use it to make hand-cut fries, but I also make Ore-Ida fries in it. Similarly, I've used the Fry Daddy to cook everything from microwavable burritos, to chicken nuggets, and even funnel cakes and homemade doughnuts.

My only complaint is that it does not come with a splatter guard and it is difficult to clean (It cannot be submerged in water). I have had my Fry Daddy for five years now, and I would certainly purchase one again.
