i was looking for this kind of book for a while which not only teach me how to use functionality and but also give me tips on how to use them to take good pictures... i really recommend this book for buyers of canon 40D :)

Canon EOS 40D 10.1MP Digital SLR Camera with EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM Standard Zoom Lens Excellent description of all components of this camera. Much easier to follow than the product manual included with the camera.

Very helpful book

I found this book extremely helpful. Reading the booklet that comes with the camera just leaves a lot of questions as to how do I do some of the things mentioned. This book helps clear up the questions. I would definitely recommend this book to help anyone with a new Canon 40D. I learned a great deal.
