Fun!

My one-year-old just loves to hear this story over and over again. The rolling text and repetitive "chugga chugga choo choo, whistle blowing whoo whoo" is great fun for little ones.

Choo Choo-rific

We checked this book out of the library for our then 13-month-old daughter, and immediately she requested it EVERY NIGHT. She was so excited to hear the Whoo whoo sounds, and started saying choo choo train and making the whistle sound herself. Illustrations are beautiful and very creative. We were a little afraid of a revolt when it was due back, so we're so excited to be able to buy it on Amazon! The book stores are filled with Thomas books and not much else, so it's great to be able to broaden our train book collection.

Just watch their eyes while reading ...

This book has a sweet story. That is not the best part though. On every page there are many "I Spy" opportunities. It is such a fun, imaginative little world this boy lives & creates in his own room. My 4 year old girl and 2 year old boy actually agree on this book every time! It is captivating and by the time the train is done for the day, so are the kiddos. It can be a fast read if bedtime is late (5 minutes) or it can be a long engaging read for extra time cuddling (20 min +/-). I highly recommend this one to ALL parents with imaginative kids. Very Engaging for Toddlers

We first got this book when for our daughter. She loved the rythamic pattern of the story and the illustrations. Pictures arefantastic, colorful and help stimulate conversation. It is fun to see how the child built the railroad all around his room using toys and furniture. A great bedtime book. A perfect gift forany kid 1-5.

Love it! Woo-WOO

This is a perfect bedtime book. It is engaging and has a good storyline. It has a very good rhythm to it and makes reading it a joy!
