We HEART Ping

...what more can I say. My mom was a preschool teacher and introduced me to this book when I was around 4 and now I've introduced it to my 6 yr old step-daughter...she begs to take it everywhere with her. It's a very simple story but some of the terms/words may be difficult for the younger audiences to grasp. If you like Chinese Folktales (or folktales in general) this is the book for you!! Also, check out Tikki Tikki Tembo...the best Chinese folktale ever concocted!!

Ducky fun

This was an old tale when I was a girl so that makes it ancient to my grandchildren but they still loved the story so the best ones never loose the attraction arrived in new condition and is in the grandma library

I read this book to my son over and over....He really loves the ducks and the story.

Gift from above

I hadn't had much luck finding this book. This was another Christmas gift for someone. This one was special though. I won't get into detail. It was however something from their childhood. Amazon made it really easy to locate and gave me many options of new or used to choose from. Of course, I chose a new one and it was in excellent shape. It was delivered pretty quickly, as all my Amazon deliveries are, and packaged very well.

The Story About Ping

This is a story about a young duckling who gets separated from his family and his struggle to find his way back home. It was one of my favorite stories when I was a little girl and now I am reading it to my three year old at bedtime to aid in teaching her the importance of family and obeying rules. Maybe she will remember how the little duck felt when he was lost and it will help her to think twice before she trys to wander too far away from our family. One can only hope!
